What Makes a House a Home

A house is a physical structure made of walls, doors and windows, but a home is something much more deeper. What truly makes a house a home is not size, location or design but the feelings and relationships that live inside it. I feel love for my family and they are the heart of my home. Like when people care for each other and support each other in difficult times and celebrate happy moments together the house becomes a place of comfort. Memories play an important role in turning a house into a home. Things like birthday parties and holidays and other experiences like that fill the space with meaning. Another thing that makes a house a home is safety and comfort. A home is a place where people can be themselves and be happy. Finally, a home is all about the people who live in it. Personal things like decorations and traditions and habits, make my house a home.
