Meaning of Home
Home could be anywhere, for me home is in my heart it is a place where you feel loved, safe and cared for you can tell all your secrets and it would never come out like who your crush or what happened at school or how day went it is a place that has lot’s of safe adult whenever I am home I feel safe if I am scared my parents keep me safe.
I love going to my parents’ room at night to read. It is very cozy and warm, it is a place to relax and bring all your stress out because I have a room to myself, and I don’t really like to be lonely. A home is where you bring people together to share memories. My favourite memories are whenever we call are extend family, we talk for a very long time, and they love me. It feels good. When you lose someone, the memories are still with how much fun you had in your home; you still have their pictures, it's sad, but you will feel like they are still close to you.
I love my home it has so much of my culture everyday we eat are traditional food and do lots of cultural stuff every night we pray to are god and we thank him for a roof over are head and food over are table we thank him for keeping us safe we remember that he is every were in are home that he also keeps us safe like are parent he is amazing.
My dad loves taking lots of videos and pictures, especially birthdays, celebrations and adventures. He says that it reminds about are childhood when we grow to be big adults. Sometimes, we don’t like taking videos and pictures, but every time I say that, it is to remind us about all our adventures and celebrations. I hope Habitat for Humanity will help other families find their own home to make lots of memories.
