What I Feel at Home

I love my house; sure, it's where you eat, sleep and breathe, but it’s more than just a house.............. It’s a safety base where I feel warm and cozy. When I get home from a tough day at school, I know it will get better soon because I’m home with my family. When I get home, my house gives me a big hug, then I run inside to see what my mom is cooking for dinner. When I leave for a trip, I usually miss my house, whether I’m camping in a tent, in a car on a road trip, or even at the cabin. When we sit at the table its more than just the food, we eat but also the tales we tell of our day, My home is like a place where we keep our memories safe, but it's also a place where we make some of those memories. Home is where family comes together for things like Christmas and birthdays. At my home, my family and I go on daring adventures of joy. Home is also like a blanket that covers me when I'm sad or mad, but not when I'm glad. And home is a magically wonderful happy place to live a life of love, not fear at home together.
