When Sunlight Hits the Darkness

My home is warm I use it, and love it. It's really my home and take care of it I laugh in it & feel in it It's really true! Do you feel in yours? I hope you do! My home is as soothing as the waves, As we laugh by the fire in our backyard On the chilliest days We have our own language its calm & cool, We have peace and laughter Maybe you do too! Though it's not perfect, it's safe and sound I always have my loved ones around. As I look to the sun, the moon, the sky My ears fill with laughter. As my mom dances like a dancer, Calls for me to join. We dance we laugh we jump We feast & dine, I drift to sleep My Belly full every night. As I wake up not every day’s the same Some are happier, Some are sad, but I'm glad to have them around. They make my day Sometimes not But I can count on them That matters a lot. Our home is warm, we use it, we love it. It's really our home We take care of it. We laugh in it feel in it It's really true! Do you feel in yours? We hope you do! When I'm at home It feels like I'm meant to be there I belong. My bond with my familys strong. When my happiness Comes to end, They mend and weave it back.
