Entering, I immediately feel a sense of comforting security, as if protected by an invisible barrier. Home feels like your shoulders dropping without you noticing. Home smells familiar, sounds right—even when it’s quiet or a little messy. I feel a sense of personal growth with each visit back to my home. Every time my family eats dinner together, there’s this wonderful smell around us. Entering will make you feel supported. The various pictures on the wall—Those moments represent personal growth and discovering my history. The living room is a place where my siblings and I play.
