What Is Home?

Home is like a warm blanket laid on top of you after playing in the snow. Home is a place where memories are made in every room. At home I feel like I can do anything I want if I put my mind to it. Home is a place where I have people that I love and love me. Home is everything. The kitchen is like a science lab. Where we whip up recipes filled with memories, love and laughter. At home I know my loved ones will always try their very hardest to put food on the table and always put me first before themselves. Our kitchen is the heart of our home. My basement is a movie theater, where we watch movies, shows and celebrate together. We all grab popcorn and sit around the tv and watch our favorite show. I know I can always count on my family to dance, watch a movie and share our wins together. The living room is like a battle ground. We are always playing games and fighting for the win. We play games and tell jokes to make everybody laugh. Games tell our story. We are like a never ending board game. Once we finish one we start the next and never ever stop. Home is a force field, protecting me from anything and everything bad. If anything bad happens I know I can go home and feel safe and loved without any worry. Home will always be able to make me smile when I am down. Home will always be there for me. I think of home as the best place in the world. Home can do anything. I love my home. It doesn't matter if a house and a home both look the same, or different. A house can look like anything a home can not. It matters what is on the inside of that house that makes it a home. A house is just a building, a home is something more. I know that every day I can go to my home anytime, anyday.
