What Home Means To Me
A home isn't a normal house . A house is new, unlived in, and cold . A home is a place with a warm bed that is always soft, a staircase that has worn paint from the people who slid down them , a warm and cozy bath that makes you feel great, a lovely bathroom that makes letting go of waste easy, a kitchen where a good smell is always coming from , a study where you can focus on doing your work without distractions, and finally a living room where everyone is sitting and cuddling .
The reason that I'm writing this essay is because I want people who don’t even have an empty home to have the chance to get a head start on a home like this. That's why I support Habitat For Humanity. People deserve a great way to start a family and end up with a home similar to a home like mine. Another part of home is family, I have one and a home is part of families , just like siblings and pets.
I'm Addison from Oakville school in Manitoba. I home (pun) that I will get someone a lovely home.
