House vs home

I love my home, it's where I live and I'm grateful for that because living in a home is a privilege for me but some people can't say that because they have no place to call home. I walk into my house, and I hear the laughter and love in the living room. While my family is watching our favourite family movie. cuddled up in the warm cozy blankets that are like an imaginary fire heating us up. When I go into my kitchen I smell warm cooked food, I start daydreaming and drooling over the amazing food . That food is why we're healthy and safe to this day. and I love my mom for that. When I go up the stairs I see my mom and brothers rooms, but then I see my own bedroom for myself where I laugh, sleep and have fun in my cozy and safe space. A home is not just bricks and wood, like a house. It's a loving place to feel good and cozy and I'm lucky to have that. Habitat for Humanity is making that happen so be grateful for that because there are other people in the world that need help to get a home. That's why I'm grateful for people like them who are so generous to help people in need.
