Home is laughter, love, and joyful Home is bedtime reading Home is learning new things Home is busy with people in and out Home is dribbling basketballs as loud as bears Home, where the sand touches my feet Home is the crash on the water Home is dad’s cinnamon buns that’s worth licking my plate Home is early morning practices with my teammates Home is bonding with my family Home is the court whether we win or lose my team is all in it together Home is the candle warmer that’s always burning Home is mom’s sourdough bread straight from the oven Home is winter snowball fights with friends and family Home is the barks of joy as soon as you wake up Home is hodgepodge with cousins on PEI Home is music in the basement while cleaning it out Home is making memories everyday, everywhere Home is my happy place Home, travelling the world together and growing my knowledge Home is counting on each other Home is connecting with new neighbours Home is school with good and bad days Home is youth group on Thursday evenings Home is homemade wood fired pizza while watching Beast Games Home is ice cream on hot summer days Home is Saturday morning pancakes with every topping I can think of Home is yearly Shinning Waters or Sandspit trips Home is grandparent's sleepovers by your self Home is Caton's Island camp each year with dad as the best counselor Home is camping outdoors while drinking hot chocolate Home is huddling by a campfire and telling stories at the same time Home is running down to the stairs for a photo on Christmas morning Home is my cottage on New Year’s Eve counting down with Grampy Home never ends I WILL NEVER FORGET MY HOME
