Home Is Different Then A House

A home is not just a house. A home is a place where there is love and care spread around. Home is a place to love and not just to live. I don't think of my home as just a house or a building, it's a place where family is and love is floating around. My home is a place where memories are made with friends and family. Each family member has a great memory that they will remember forever in my home. I have so many good things that I remember, I can't even name them all. My bedroom is my cave, if I want a quiet place by myself. My bedroom is a spot where I know I can go to sleep safe.My bedroom is like a well guarded castle so I can sleep. I'm lucky that I can sleep safely under a roof and that's why Habitat for Humanity is helping people in need of a house to make it their home. My home is a safe place if I'm having a bad day at school, I know I can always count on my family being home. They will help me if something is going on at school. I'm lucky that I can go home with family after school. Some kids don’t have a home to go to after school. Habitat for Humanity is to help those kids get a home to go to. A house is just a building but a home isn’t. A home holds feelings and memories a house just can’t. So my home isn’t just a house, it's a place where love is spread around my home. I feel safe and loved in my home.
