The Home
Home is not just a place made out of bricks and a roof over your head, it's a place where we hear laughter and feel tranquility and peace. You can hear your siblings rush faster than the wind to get the freshly baked chocolate cookies. Parents are grateful that they have a joyful home. You can see the memories running through your mind when you wore a kid while you're being hugged by the soft, hygge big blanket. It feels like being in a small or a big nest while your parents cook you food. Your home is a shelter where you actually feel safe and connected with the love your parents have for you and your siblings. You can feel how you're safe, maybe from bullying or maybe from feeling unsafe at school. Home doesn't have to be a house, it can be any place you feel safe and protected. You can hear the peace and the fresh air waking up. You can hear the birds sing while you eat your fresh breakfast. I hug my cat like he's a comfy plushie when I go to sleep. I play with my brother while it's sunny in our backyard. When it's the end of the day you RUSH to your home to jump into your bed and just relax for hours. Home is a place where WE feel safe and comfortable. We feel joyful and energetic in our homes. Remember “house” is just a place not home. You enjoy the sunset and sunrise with your loved ones. I hope YOU have a safe place to stay!
