Home Isn’t Just a Roof

The meaning of home, so much more than people think, the place full of joy. Grins from ear to ear, the place where laughter is spread, it is awesome here. Most people will think, it is simply a shelter, much food and water. It is so much more, not a roof to live under, home is a safe place. When I was little, my parents seemed strict, because I had less. Then I realized, from books and in school, some people had none. Home is a safe place, no one will abuse me here, maximum safety. Accompanied with, your mom, dad, brother, sister, the people you trust. And just like comfort, it is a shelter of love, so warm and cozy. Home with my sisters, blonde hair around the corner, many cheek kisses. Pancakes, fruit and juice, a breakfast on the table, previously set. A warm place to share, hands warmed over the fireplace, memories made here. A soft bed for sleep, filled with pillows and blankets, a place full of dreams. Altogether now, a family who loves me, home never ends.
