The Meaning of Home

My home isn't just bricks and walls; it's where love happens and begins. It's where I've lived since I was born and that's special. My home has a familiar smell and is warm when I'm cold and cold when I'm hot. and at night my house tucks me in like a warm blanket wrapping around me. My house makes me feel safe and that when I'm inside nothing can happen to me. My house is big but not too big and not too small. It's perfect. Whenever I come home from school or camp I always feel rejoiced to be home. And at my house I have everything I need. When I lay down in bed every night I snuggle up with my stuffies and huddle in my blankets, my home is where I make memories with my family and it’s where I laugh, cry, sleep and watch movies with my family. It's where I feel comfortable and never alone. But when I need space I can always get some anywhere I want. Home is my happy place. I’m grateful for my home knowing that I have a place to come home to every day makes me feel really thankful because some people don't have a place to come home to every day. My home isn't just a home, it's my comfortable place where I have family and I love that very much.
