It’s A Home Not A House

Homes are a happy place, people feel safe at home but not at a house. What I mean is a house is a structure but a home is more than a structure. When I get home from school or town I feel tired, happy and safe. But if I go to another house I don’t feel safe because it's not home. But sometimes if I get home from a store 5 minutes away, I feel happy because it's in my neighborhood so it's not as far a drive. Home has a roof over your head, food on the table, laundry done, a bed and some clean water. But a house doesn't have any of that except the roof but one question: Do you have a bed there? Do you have laundry done? Do you have food on the table? No it doesn't, that's why you need to be grateful for what you do have. When you're at home you’re relaxed, happy, full and you feel safe because you have people to provide for you but not at a house. Some houses are dirty, not very welcoming, not safe and just depressing. Homes are nice, they’re clean and welcoming, sometimes exciting but houses aren't. Houses are not a home, houses are something that's not yours you don't live there you don’t feel safe. The End
