A Place I Call Home

Home is not just a place where I sleep and eat. At my home I feel safe and protected. It's a place where my family is, and I make memories that live in me forever. Home is a place where I can express myself. If I am willing to try something new, home always has my back. At home I am free from everything. I am free to be me. All the pictures on the wall mean something, and every time I look at them they bring back memories. I have a different feeling for every picture, even sadness. Home is where nobody can offend me or be rude. When I am home, kindness and love swirl around me; it's like it takes me in a big hug. When I walk into home and I feel down, I talk to my animals. They make me feel comforted and they understand how I feel. After a long day at school my mom is always sure to give me a huge hug. My dad is an awesome dad. He is sportive and a good sport and always tries to help me improve at everything. Both of my parents are very hard workers and they provide me with everything I need. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for making it possible for people to have a place to call home.
