Home Is More Than Just One Thing

Home is somewhere you create memories where you feel loved and cared for and feel safe. I think every person in the world deserves a home. A home plays a HUGE part in your life. It protects you from tornados, earthquakes and a whole bunch of other stuff that can happen. It’s somewhere where you have birthday parties, gatherings and so many precious moments. Most people think it is just a place to eat and sleep but it’s so much more. I can just imagine some lucky person getting handed over a key to a brand new house. I know that will make their day and just knowing that makes me happy. Each time someone moves they bring a bit of their old home with them. I love my home because it is where I feel safe. This is not just about winning the tablet, it’s about helping someone out when things are hard and it’s caring for someone other than yourself. Some people don’t have a home and knowing that I can play a part in trying to help them makes me feel good. If I win, great, and if I don’t at least I know someone is going to be helped. By Leah
