A place that's just right

Home feels like cool nighttime breeze on a tropical vacation, It’s like the waves meet the sand. Home is a place that always feels welcoming, It’s the warm and cozy days spent at home with my cat. Home tastes like my Grammys raspberry pie, It’s a place that smells just like my mom’s fresh baked bread. Home looks like the fresh powder slopes It’s a place that looks just like a dream. Home is picking fresh apples on my grandma's birthday, It’s strawberry picking with my dad in the summer. Home is travelling to new places of adventure, It’s looking at the bright lights of Vegas at night. Home means swimming on hot days in the summer, It’s sipping pinã coladas on a tropical vacation. Home is the warm cinnamon buns coming out of the oven on Christmas morning, It’s eating my aunt's fresh blueberry pudding cake. Home is getting the kitchen to my self and letting my imagination take over, It’s helping my Nai nai make fresh wanton soup. Home is the smell of the salty ocean of Ramea bay , It's the smoothest of the pebbles in Killarney lake. Home is like a light at the end of a dark road, That will be in my heart wherever I go.
