Home is the place where I can curl up in My bed and read A good book. Home is the place where I can sit down and Play games all day long With my parents and sisters. Home is the place where I can fall asleep at twilight And wallow in my dreams In comfort and peace. Home is the place where I can run anywhere And mess around hoping that I won’t get in trouble Home is the place where I can stay when I’m upset With my mom’s comforting arms And my dad’s tender kisses Home is the place where I can settle at the Computer and watch Shorts all day long. But home can be the place That someone enjoys going to Like a library or a mall Or a park or a bed. Home can be the place where I may fight with my sisters But in one way or another We’ll make up in the end. Home can be the place where I can learn something new Like how to bake or fry food Or how to sew too Home can be the place where I can sit and just relax (Although I hate doing that) And just do nothing at all Home can be the place where I can stay when it’s bad outside And curl up near the fireplace To just stay warm Home can be the place where You can just live a Peaceful life in the comfort Of your home forever Home is the place where You can celebrate holidays In the living room with All your family together Home is the place where You can be grateful for Everything you have like Books, food, and life itself
