The Meaning of Home

Most people think a home is just a place with rooms, but I think it’s where my family and I make memories that I treasure. A home is a place where you feel loved and cared for. It’s a building where you do the things you love and express yourself. A place where you can invite friends, have fun and play games in. At dinner I can smell the delicious food my dad makes and when I eat it I can feel the warmth spread through my body as I taste the food filled with love. A home is the only place where you can dream away and drift off to sleep in your comfy bed. You can dream something so great that real life can’t match, but you can only do that in your dreams when you’re at home. In the end there’s no place like home.
