The Meaning of Home

Your comfort zone when you finally get home after a long day, feeling free and safe, wondering how amazing it is to be on your bed feeling so cozy, comfy, and safe. Home can be in a different place, whether if it’s in a different country, area, or house. You feel safe around the people that are in your home, for example: my mom, dad, and siblings make me feel safe. Even when they are annoying sure I get a little mad, but it doesn’t mean I don’t care about them It’s always so nice to feel that they care about you or when they play with you. Not even a single thing can replace that feeling If there’s a house with nobody you know but just strangers, it feels weird, doesn’t feel right. But if it’s with people you know and love, it feels just like home. It’s not just about the building, it’s about the memories and love that you have, that’s why it’s always so important to have people you know and love. What I’m saying is that you can’t just have a building by itself, it must be with family and people you know to make it a home. Home is where you have friends that will love you just the way you are, and if you’ve had a bad day, it doesn’t matter. They will accept you and love you the same. – Alana
