Home is Family

HOME IS FAMILY When I think about home I feel warmth. I think about the people in a home. It also reminds me of games and fun. Home is a good place to be. My home has my bed and it is always nice and cozy. It feels safe and quiet. It is my place to be by myself. When my family watches TV we are sitting around on the couch. This is another warm, cozy feeling I like. My mom makes hot chocolate on cold winter days and this makes me feel warm and cozy. My mom and dad are home to me. I feel safe when I am with my parents no matter where I am. They love me and take care of me and that feels good too. My brother and sister are also people that make me feel good. I play with them and they are my family. I know them better than anyone else and they know me better than anyone else so that is a good feeling too. At home my family does things together. We watch TV and movies together. We always eat together. At supper we talk about our day and whatever else we want to say. I also play games with my brother and sister. I like doing things with them. Having my family together in the same place is home to me. Home is about the people who are around you and the things you do with those people. They make you safe and happy.
