The Meaning of Home to Me

People say home is a house but for some people it's not, just like how everybody's lives are different down to their actions or surroundings. People think home is a peaceful place with laughter and joy but sometimes it's not. Other houses may have that but mine is filled with noise of people laughing, me and my brother fighting and my dog barking trying to stop the fight. Although the fights are bad they are filled with memories, memories filled with love. There are a lot of fights between me and my brother and I don't see my older brother a lot. He's always gaming or studying and he doesn't hang out with me a lot. Both my brothers are older than me and don't play with me anymore so I mostly play with my dog Coco. She brings a lot of joy but also fights about whose turn it is to walk her or whose turn it is to watch her a lot but at the end of the day it's all worth it. My favourite time is dinner time because she gets weirdly happy for her dinner and sometimes we give her leftovers. I also see my grandparents as a home too. I see it as a home because everytime I come over they are welcoming, loving and caring. Sometimes I watch movies with them. I don't go often, but when I do, their home is full of food and love. I was once told that a home doesn't have to be a house or even a building. It is where you feel loved and safe. You don't have to love your home but I love my homes with all my heart for the rest of my life.
