Meaning of Home to Me

Home to me, is where I live with my family. It’s where I can snuggle on the sofa to read an intriguing novel and just relax. It can be a place where things quiet down from the busy day. Other times, it’s us cheering loudly while playing board games together. Home is a place where I hang out with my family and be silly. My brother and I often play hide and seek. Sometimes we even prank each other until we get mad. It’s a comfortable place where you can find joyful pictures on our mantel. In my bedroom, there are a ton of cute plushies. My parents wish they could donate them all or at least a few. Home to me is where we embrace our heritage and celebrate traditions. I love the part where I get to eat delicious food and savour each bite slowly. I do mean slowly. Here is the place I feel loved and secured. It’s where I belong and a place where I can be me. I get to refuel my energy after a good night's sleep too. Our home is small, but it’s just perfect for us because my family is my forever home.
