Home isn’t just a place for shelter. It’s a place where you have bonded and connected with. Home is a place to wake up and go to sleep knowing loved ones are near. The wall with pictures and drawings whiff me away through memory lane. A place where I took my first steps and my first words. Home is always the homebase or starting point for the journey ahead. Even when you move from your home, the place you have known for years, home will follow you everywhere no matter what. Home is a place to feel safe and secure, a place where you have that warm relaxed feeling like getting home from school. You can feel safe and cared for in any way at home whether it’s getting tucked in at night or waking up to the smell of breakfast. Home can be destroyed but new ones can be found. Home is a place that’s full of memories, love, excitement and more mixed feelings. Home can be anywhere and at home you can feel any way you want. Everyone needs a home no matter who they are or what they look like. Home is the blanket that wraps around you when you’re sad. Home is the fun to play with when you're energetic. Home is the hug to calm you down when you’re angry. Homes are one and only even when you move through houses, home is right next to you. There is nothing like home
