What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me Home…? What does the word home actually mean? A place of laughter? A place of joy? A place of happiness? Well those are all great answers but to me, home means being free and acting like my true self. It’s somewhere where I can be sad, mad, happy or even confused. A place where I can be alone or be with people. A place of choice. I think home is where you can feel open and you can say what feels right rather than feeling like you have to act or put on a brave face. Yes, it’s great to have a place to be happy but it's also good to have a place to be sad, just a place to feel however you want. I feel at home I can be crafty, loving or really anything at all. I truly feel comfortable at home by all my surroundings and knowing I can go to anyone and they will be there for me, even my dog. So what do I think home means? Well to me it means being myself and feeling, saying and doing what feels right.
