What Home Means to Me

Most people think home is just where you live, but I think it means much more. Home means a lot of different things to me like where you live, the country where you stay and the people around you. One of the things that mean home to me is the place where I live and where I was born. Living and staying in the place that I feel comfortable is one of the things I call home. I call the place I live at home because I feel safe and accepted. Everyone should be able to feel comfortable in the place they call home. Another thing that means home to me is the country I live in. The country I have lived in, which is Canada. Canada means home to me because I have lived there my entire life. I can call it home because I feel safe and comfortable. I learned how to live and enjoy the cold weather. The last thing that means home to me is the people around me. The people have to make me feel safe for me to say this is home. If the people around me are rude and don't make me feel safe, I would not call it home. Instead I would call it trash. In conclusion, I think home does not only mean where you live. To me, home means the country you live in, the people around you, and the place where you live.
