What is Home?

Have you ever thought about what home is? Home is a place that surrounds you. Home is a great place for me because it makes me feel like where I belong, a place that feels like my very own headquarter, and a place where all my happiness is. Home is not just a building, but it is a place where we build our memories, and share joys and sorrows with the family. Home provides me with a support system that allows me to be myself without the fear of being judged. Home is a great place for me to talk about my feelings to my parents and siblings so they know why I am sad or happy. Home is a place where you can feel safe, because everyone in your home cares about you and loves you. It is not just a place that can make me feel happy, but is also a place that can protect me from natural disasters like storms and really windy days. It's not just physical security, but it is also a safe haven for me. It is a place that provides me emotional warmth and security. I don't need to worry about what other people say about me when I'm home. Home feels like my headquarters because I have everything I need at my home. I don't need to worry about anything because of the support system I have around myself. It is a very special place for me because I can sleep in a really cozy bed and eat delicious food my mom makes for me or the amazing BBQ that my dad sometimes prepares. Sometimes I think about home being my comfort place because in my opinion it's the best place in the whole wide world. Home is even full of love and care. If I can't find peace at home, I cannot find peace anywhere. Home is my happy place because I feel so much joy when I return from school. My baby sister makes me smile and is excited to see me and I can tell that she loves me a lot. I love home because I have a supportive family and a loving neighborhood that helps our community. Whenever I feel bored or I have low energy, I go to the park that's near my home with my friends and family. When I have free time I can watch a movie with my family in my cozy living room. When my mom cooks, my kitchen smells so good. Home can mean many places to me. It is a great place for you and me to fix our problems, talk about our feelings, and makes us feel where we belong. We can all do fun things at home. Home is my special and a place where all of my happiness is. We should all love our because it is not just a regular building, it is a place where it has loving people.
