What Home Means to Me
Home is a primary need of every living being. There is no place as beautiful as Home. Home is the place where we live, whether the house is big or small. Everyone loves their home because it gives us comfort and happiness.
First, home is a very special place. It is not just a building or a house. Home is where my family is and where I feel safe and comfortable. Home is full of love, care, kindness, and warmth.
Second, my mom is a single mother and she works very hard to take care of me and my siblings. Right now, we do not have a permanent home, and my mom cannot drive. Because of this we were not able to go to school regularly this year. Being in the shelter made me understand the essence of home. Even though life has been hard, home still feels special because we are together. My mom always tells us to stay strong and believe that better days will come.
Third, at home, I can be myself. I can play, laugh, read and talk about my feelings. My mom listens to me and that helps me when I am sad. We share meals, play games, pray and appreciate the small joys together. These moments make our home full of happiness, even if it is not big or fancy.
Fourth, home is a place for memories. I remember the time we laughed together, shared stories and helped each other. These memories made our home very unique to me.
In conclusion, Home means family, love and safety. Although we live in a shelter and life is sometimes hard. My home is where my family is and that is the most important thing to me.
