What Home Actually Is
You might think, “Oh, you know, home is just a building where you sleep and eat”. But it's much more than that! Let's get into it!
Home has many more meanings, but the most outstanding one is family. Family is the people who grew you up and raised you. And adding that up, home is where they raised you. Without a home, and growing up, life wouldn't be the same. Talking and laughing with my family fills the house with joy and laughter.
At home you can do anything that brings you joy. At home is where you can be free and just relax from all the hassle. Whenever I come home I always start drawing or playing games.
People have one or two homes, I have one in Bangladesh and one in Canada. Moving out I felt down since that meant leaving my home. Yet I knew it was for the best. My house in Bangladesh was very special to me because that's where I was born, and that's where all my memories held. Even though that house held memories, my house now also holds memories.
Anytime my family and I go on a vacation leaving our home, I feel happy, but also worried if anything happens to our home. Still I know our home will be safe. After coming back home, I can smell that home feeling.
Without an actual home, life wouldn’t feel safe, nor would it feel lively. I am grateful for all the things my parents did, they gave me enough food and a roof over my head. This is what home actually means.
