Home... But Ten Times Better

Yes, in my house it’s typical that you will see sisters fighting, the tv when my parents and I play video games together, a puppy on my lap and my parents talking, but there are quite a few other things, things you can taste, hear, smell and feel in my home! You would also taste my parents’ meaty lasagna. Speaking of dinner, I LOVE my dad’s delicious alfredo bow tie noodles or Domino’s Pizza on a Friday night in front of the tv. But something I think you wouldn’t like is the taste of my gross vitamins. You would hear calm things like Christian music, me laughing at my dad’s jokes (they are terrible). You also would hear my puppy barking VERY loud (sometimes I can’t take it anymore). You would also hear my parents excitedly cheering for the Winnipeg Jets. You would also smell some things like my mom’s pumpkin oat muffins or fresh bacon in the oven or even my smelly soccer socks after I've played a soccer game. And yes, I have MANY emotions when it comes to talking about home. I always have felt loved when my cuddly puppy comes downstairs when I am sad. And of COURSE I feel happy when there is a fun surprise my mom and dad are telling me. I also feel very excited when a holiday comes up. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Habitat for Humanity for making affordable houses for poor people. Even if I do not win this year, I will be happy for all the people who get decent homes.
