How Changing to Different Homes Felt

I used to live in Colombia which is located in South America. But then my dad told me that things weren't going as planned with his job. Then my parents figured out that Colombia was a very dangerous place. We said goodbye to our family members at the airport and went aboard the plane then left. My parents chose to go to Canada since it was a safer country. After 1 day of travel we finally got to Canada. But then something changed. I couldn't understand anything that everybody around me was saying. We rented a small Airbnb. It was not big, but it was the only thing we could afford. My mom let me use her phone to learn English using Duolingo. After many months I finally learned English. After I knew enough English my parents put me in school. At first I didn’t make many friends. But after 2 days I had made 4 new friends. And right now I'm in 5th grade learning lots of interesting subjects. It turns out I did change homes and also country’s, but my home travelled with me and never left me. I left my last home and still have a beautiful home.
