The Meaning and Feeling of Home to Me

Home is somewhere I can express my feelings. Home makes me feel safe, cheerful and glad. Home is somewhere that cheers me up when I’m not feeling well, and days that I’m feeling down. Home is somewhere I can look forward to, knowing that it’s a reliable place I can go to anytime. Home is somewhere nobody can limit your emotions. Home makes me feel like me. Home is not just a place where I live. Home means being in a place that makes me feel safe, a place where I can make memories, share stories, be with family, and play games. When I am at home I feel joyful. That feeling is a feeling when I am glad to be home. Sometimes I come home feeling exhausted, and I know when I reach home I can finally be relaxed and relieved. Home can sometimes be peaceful, and sometimes it’s not as peaceful. Home is a place that will always mean a lot to me. At home we love, respect, and are kind to each other. We play board games with lots of laughter. Sometimes I laugh so hard I can barely breathe. My siblings and I also play card games. Even if I lost the game it was worth playing because we get to make memories together. This is how home makes me feel and what home means to me. Home is an important and inspiring place that I can dream big.
