Through The Seasons

Going to the beach with waves Crashing on to our chest. Biking home free as a bird and seeing grass getting cut one by one. Scraped knees, bruised arms worth For a win at tag. Hearing basketballs Bouncing and shoes squeaking on The court. Sweating so hard like I'm In the dessert eating ice cream. Fall Watching the leaves clinging so hard And seeing them drift down slowly. Walking to the bus stop while Stepping on crunchy leaves. Waking up mad for school And stomping my feet. Going outside feeling the chilly breeze. Wearing my costume proudly like No one was watching. Apple picking after a rainy day and feeling The mud go through my boots. Winter Feeling the snow falling against my face. Walking home from school while the wind slaps my face like waves crashing on the Sea floor. Warm showers in the bath tub and Feeling the hot steamy warm me up. Sleeping on my warm cozy blanket that is Wrapping me like a warm burrito. Waking up on Christmas morning with hot Chocolate ready to get slurped. Spring Walking home and hearing mud puddles Getting stepped on and wheels rolling over Them. Snow slowly melting with little droplets of rain pouring from above. Going outside And smelling the chilly muddy scent travaling Trough my nose. Making my last snow man Before snow melts to the ground. Heavy cold Rain pouring over houses and children writing On the foggy windows.
