Meaning of home

For me, the meaning of home is either Hakensack, U.S.A., where I was born or India, where my whole family is from. I love my home. It’s just so cozy and warm and it’s just where I feel safe. My home has everything that I could ever want. And I mean everything. From my comfy, soft bunk bed, to my laptop where I play games and study. My home is the place where me and my family get together after long days after school and work. When I think of an object that represents my home, the first thing that comes to mind is me and my tiny brother’s Nintendo Switch 2. Sometimes while I play Nintendo, I eat spicy, well seasoned, crispy Indian snacks like masala munch kure-kure. Ugh; now I want some kure-kure. I am Indian, and these snacks have flavours from India. They remind me of my true home, where all my descendants were from. Sometimes, I just want to get into a safe, isolated space, away from the rest of the world. When I’m home, I can do just that. Home is just like my personal safe space, I can go into my room and just have peace. Away from the noisy, distracting, outside world. Home is just the best. Like, I can’t even put the rest into words. Home is truly extraordinary. 🙂
