The Heart of my Home There are many things that make my house a building, but even more that make it a home. If you think about it, a house is just a building with four walls, and a structure. A home is where we have happiness, and family to spend time with every day. So, I will be explaining what makes my home my home, and what it really means to me. One of the things that most brings me most joy is my mother’s cooking. I am very thankful to have a kitchen, and a loving family to wake up to make me food, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also always am delighted when I smell baking, or that beautiful Sunday breakfast. It is always very nice to smell it and taste it all the time. What makes my home a great place is that we each have our own rooms, and somewhere to eat and chill and be together. I love it when we always watch movies on the nice comfy couch. I also love my favourite room, my bedroom, where I get to feel and lay on my warm soft bed after a long day of school. While I have free time at my home, I usually try to be calm and listen to music. I can use most of my devices for that, such as my T.V, my ipad, a phone, and my Alexa. I always like to hear nice pop or country music. I also like to hear my T.V playing with the videos I like. Finally, what really makes the heart of my home is memories me and my family make together. Whenever I am in my hallway, I always see my old pictures, representing my family’s love and happiness. The sad memories, the happy memories, it all makes the heart of my home. My family has forgiveness, effort, gratitude, and way more. I am really glad, and I appreciate how I’m this lucky to have a home and house like this, and a family to bring it together.
