House and Home A home is not just four walls and a roof. A home is something much more. Home is a happy place filled with love, smiles, and laughter that wraps around you so tight that it makes you want to pass out from happiness and scream with joy. A house is just walls, windows, and bricks. It's you and your outstanding family, your happiness, and maybe even your fluffy blanket that makes your house a home. When I come home, I always get greeted with lots of hugs and love. When I'm in my room and I get called up for dinner, I come up and see so much awesome food. Those are the things that make my house a home. Not all homes are the same, a house with a couch, beds and bathrooms is not a home. It's the touch of my dogs Furr, it's the beautiful sunsets that I see outside my mom's window, it's the taste of my brothers' delicious homemade cookies, it's the smells of my mom's candles, it's when I hear the music coming from my sister's room that makes my house a home. It's so many things that make my house a home and we are grateful to have those things. Especially the things that make me and my family happy.
