The Meaning of Home

What is the meaning of home? Well I don't know what it means to you but to me it's the smell of my moms baking when I walk through the door. It's like a muffin giving you a warm hug. Home is the safest place in the world that I can go to. Because I know that no one is going to judge me or make fun of me. It's the safest environment I can go to when I'm feeling down or have anxiety. My home and my family make me feel loved and noticed and it's okay to cry sometimes. Because there's always someone there for me. Every person has some place to consider home whether it's your friend's house or your grandparents. It doesn't have to be the place you sleep in. It's wherever you feel safe. Some people might have fluffy friends known as pets. My family cuddles up with a warm blanket and we watch a move with snacks plus my dog taking up all the room. Sometimes my dad laughs so hard I can't get the sound out of my ears. But all I'm trying to say is my home is the best thing in the world all because of my family.
