Home is not Just a Building

Home is more than a building. The home I live in is a place where I can be myself. My kitchen is a happy place where you can here laughter, taste good food, and feel the warmth of love. My kitchen is the place where we like to gather and discuss the day together. Our living room is the room we spend the most time in. We watch shows together, talk and laugh. We often can’t decide what to watch, so we never get to watch the whole movie. Downstairs is where my sister and I practise our sports. Ding! One of my pucks hits the crossbar. Some nights I just get lost in my imagination and when I go back upstairs is already time for bed. On special occasions, like Christmas and my birthday, we eat dinner in the dining room. It’s a lot of fun when all my family comes over. Home is not just a building. It’s a place I can be myself.
