The Walls That Build Me

People say home means you have a place to live, to me thats a reason, but i have many more. Home is a warm cozy place where you can have the most amazing memories playing card games and fun sports. To me home feels like somewhere I feel safe and don’t feel pressure to do things you maybe don't want to do. Home feels like I have people who care about me and take care of me. Home to me can be in many different places, it’s the lake, my friend’s house, and when we’re on a vacation. Home is when my cousins and I go tubing out on the lake, or when we go to the ice cream shop, there's this part of me that I just feel so loved. Home is my school where all my friends laugh and have fun while we are telling really funny jokes in the park across the street. Home, to me, is not just having a building with four walls and a roof, it's about playing with your dog, spending time with family and friends, playing twister in your living room and eating family dinners. And I have one thing more to say, home holds memories. This is what home feels like to me.
