My Home is Not Just a House

A house is built with pillars and bricks but a home is built with love and family. My home is where I can be myself. A home is where I feel safe because I know where I am and I'm surrounded by family. A home is where I spread happiness. Home is important. A home is so much more than a building. A home has family, friends and memories . Some of my favorite days have been at home with those I love. My home is like a extremely warm gooey marshmallow. Every time I sit on the couch my dog cuddles me and makes me feel warm, comfy and safe. My mom always listens when I need to tell her something. My home is somewhere I don't need to be perfect. Even when I get a bad grade instead of my mom yelling at me, she helps me learn more about the subject. My mom encourages me to learn and listen in class, even when I get frustrated . That's why a home is not just a house it's somewhere you feel loved, happy and cared for. Thanks habitat for humanity!
