What Home Means To Me?

Home can mean many different things because people have different perspectives. To me, home is snug and over the moon. When I think of home, I think about my brother. Him and I can sometimes fight and not be friends, but we actually care about one another, we just don't show it. Then I have my parents. They remind me of home because they are always there for me, and they taught me everything. Home is also a place where I can feel safe. In my home, I have everything I need to be happy and entertained. Then we have my extended family. They remind me of home, because they are the reason that I have things I need for my safety and health. My house is also a home. A house is not that important as a home because everything I mentioned above makes a house into a home. My pet fish also reminds me of home because he part of our family too. I’ve lived in many different houses, some expensive and some basic. However, even the most expensive house doesn't feel like a home without family, love, and support. Food also reminds me of home because you need it for surviving. In my home I have different types of food which helps me survive. I also have drinks which are really important in life, but the most important drink that I have access to is water. I’ am blessed to live in Canada which has an abundance of clean water. Another way I think of home is different traditions and religions. I had a home in different countries as well, which meant I would celebrate with the country, and my family. That just makes me think of a home where I have food, gifts, and family friends.
