What Home is Like
To me, home is the safest place for me, and it's also where I spend a lot of my time. It's where I can lay down however I want and not get judged. The smallest things mean so much to my family. The food my mom makes is not just food; it's food that brings back memories.
My home has far more than four walls and a roof. It is a special place filled with safety, love, and so many unforgettable memories.
When I come back from school, I am welcomed with love and hugs, food waiting for me, and the blanket I was looking for this morning right in front of my eyes.
Home is where I get love and support from my family. Home is where I feel joy. It's where my family feels joy.
If you came to my house, the first thing you would hear is laughter, the first thing you would smell is food, you would see my siblings playing games, and the last thing you would see is us not playing with each other. You will also notice that we don’t leave each other out. We’re always there for each other.
Home is the best place, but it’s sad to come home and see that you are moving, or if you knew but can't hold back your tears, which happened to me so many times.
Trust me, all I see these days:
1: My mom on her phone looking for a house to move to
2: My dad always asking me if that house is safe, and if that house is big, or should we get a house with a garage
3: My siblings saying they want to move, but they also don't want to change schools, and places that they don’t want to move to
I have moved 3 times so far, and my family still wants to move. I really don't want to. I made so many uncountable memories.
