What Home Is To Me

Home is where I feel at peace, A place where all my worries cease. It's where I laugh, and where I cry. With family close, time flies by. The smell of dinner in the air, the cozy couch. It's not just walls, it's love and care. A place where I know can be like where I cry and get our emotions out like crying about loss or not much money but no matter if i have a home or not still I would stay grateful no matter what and some smells like the dinner smell in the air our parents put a lot of love and care. And my closet fort in my room and why I made it There's this closet in my room and it's filled with all my stuff. I keep cramming things in there, when I've had enough. It's filled with so much guilt,which is piled on top of pain.There's shame, loneliness and emotions I can't even name.There's a lack of understanding and a space that's filled with doubt. And plenty more emotions, screaming to get out. So I made a decision and made it a fort. I do lots of sports so I put my medals there and I read in there and I play on my ipad there. It's important to have a safe place to rest like your home. You can rome down the halls and play games but you need a safe place to rest,sleep and feel how you feel. If I didn't have a home I would still be grateful for what I have and what i dont have.
