The Meaning of Home

I walk into my home after a long day and I feel my dogs fur as they jump onto me and I feel content to be home. Home to me is the place where my family is. One time that shows what home means to me is when I get home after skiing for a long time and I'm greeted by my family. Another time I can remember is when they surprise me with a gift, swimming with them or being with them when we celebrate Christmas. Three immense memories are when I took my snake Pancake and put her in her enclosure. My second big memory is when I got my second snake Banana bread from the same place. My last big memory is when I got my two dogs Birki and Finnigan from a private breeder. These memories are important to me because I asked for all of these things for a long time and I was with my family the whole time. Now I understand that home is not just a place, it is where my family are. I also understand that if I go somewhere or move it would still feel like home because my family is there. Home should not just be a place it should be where you are loved, safe, relaxed, calm and happy
