Meaning of home

The meaning of home can be different for everybody. But here's what I think “Home” means. For starters, I think that my home is a safe place for me to rest after a long day of work, playing, or whatever. It’s a place designed for fun, relaxation, and anything of your choice. If you want to read, there’s books ready for you. If you want to sleep, there’s a comfy bed ready for you. And if you’re hungry when you wake up, there’s a warm home-cooked meal ready for you to eat. Your home has everything you need, whether it’s basic human needs or fun things you love. Your room, no, your home, is always a safe place for you. A place to cry if you’re sad. A place to celebrate if you're happy. A place to sleep if you’re tired. A place to yell if you’re angry. A place to hide if you’re scared. Most importantly, a place to have fun. Fun with your friends. Fun with your family. Speaking of family, your mom and dad, your brother or sister, your dog or cat, and your grandpa and grandma are always waiting for you at home. They’re waiting for you to come back and tell them about your day. They love you the dearest and care for you the most. They’re always there for you, in your ups and downs, whether you’re happy, sad, angry, or scared. They’re always waiting to support you in your life. Your home is your safe place, your happy place. Always cherish your home, as you could lose it along with the people dearest to you any day now.
