Home Poem

Home feels like a place decently tame Especially when I am playing fun video games I can smell the barbeque A smoky scent I need Yummy food for me and you! Now it’s time for us to feed Sitting outside eating warm, fresh burgers What better is there to eat? The taste of beef so very tasty Now I’ll go play on the street. Bumpy, cracky asphalt Underneath my heels Scootering, biking, on my jumps As long as I’m on two wheels Kids laughing and yelling All the way down the street! Jumping my neighbors on my bike A very loud scream indeed! Coming back down the rough, stoney driveway So many things to see My bike jumps, my basketball net! So many things for me. All year round, I’m having fun My purple-blue faction skis Or maybe my pink and white beautiful bike Can I get them serviced please? No matter what, I’ll feel happy But even when I feel alone There is a place I can turn to called home.
