What Home Means to Me

To me, home is like a happy feeling that never leaves me. My home is not just a place where I eat and sleep, it's a place where I am always welcome no matter what. You might think that a home is just a building that you are living in, that gives you shelter, and provides a place for you to live in, but it's much, much more than that. Home is where your loved ones are. Wherever your loved ones are, it's a home. Whether it's on a vacation, in a hotel room, or staying at your grandparent’s house for a couple of days, it's still a home .My favorite part of the day is when me, my two other brothers, my mom and dad all sit down together to share about our day and eat delicious foods. Then, after dinner we all sit down and read a book as a family and then we have silent reading as a family. To me, home is not just a place or a thing, you might think that is an object, but to me it's a feeling of happiness and joy. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making a safe and happy home for so many people.
