What Home Means to Me

Home isn't a house, home to me is cozy, stealing the biggest most fluffy blankets I can find and watching a movie with my family. Home to me is happy like pretending my dog kicked a soccer ball and got a crazy goal even though my dog has no idea what’s happening. Home to me is safe and content like having a roof over my head and walls to keep me safe from cold, rain, wind, and snow. Home to me has tasty food and water to eat and drink so I can be happy and healthy. Home to me has sports like going out on a nice summer day and playing soccer in my back yard and having fun. Home to me has loving family to come home to after school or summer camp to cheer me up when I’m down and to have fun with me when I’m happy to feed me when I’m hungry and to help me with homework when I’m confused. Home can be a lot of things but this is what home means to me.
