Meaning Of Home

When I think of my home, my heart gives a leap, Walls are built of trust, and happiness so deep, and a loving home for us to keep, 4 echoes of laughter, friends and family draw near, inviting comfort and love here. Home is not just a place, it's somewhere you feel always safe, It’s the things you smell, hear, see, and taste, Home is welcoming, as long as you have faith. Wherever I roam, These are the things that remind me of home, The garden filled with flowers and vegetables that grow with beauty, As they need to be watered, “it's my duty”. The candles on my birthday cakes, the new pajamas on Christmas Eve, and the precious time I spend with my family year by year. Home is where I’m told to “be brave” and “never give up”, “follow your dreams” and “any time you fall, don’t forget to stand up!” Home is the altar of safety and unconditional love Where the childhood memories are the bricks-and-mortar That builds the majestic walls surrounding the sanctuary of my soul-star. The heart of the home is where the enjoyable memories lies, And where without doubt peace always arrives.
