The Shape of Home
I love home. Home is where I roam. This is what home means to me. Home fills me inside with glee. Home is where I play video games and talk to my family. Home has the greatest thing of all Love, it has no fee.
Home is where I can finally have some time to think. I get so focused I hardly even blink. I hear my brother drop his car keys with a clink. I hear my dad welcome the guests asking them if they want a drink.
I hear my mom open my door and it creeks. My singing brother's voice cracks and squeaks. I close my water bottle tightly, but it still leaks.
Home isn't just a building, it's the place that means the most to you and your family.
The smell of fresh baked muffins on the cooling rack. Home feels like getting hit on the head while playing with your hacky sack. Accidentally breaking your favourite toys. Crack!
Home is family. This is what home means to me.
